A recipient of the British Empire Medal, Rebecca is a member of the Armed Forces Para Snowsports team and recently attended an international training camp in Winter Park Resort, USA.

Heliskiing at 79 years old

“My Ski Mojo lets me ski all day”

She contacted us to let us know that “my Ski Mojo lets me ski all day, whether heli-skiing or on piste”.

However, Pam also told us how her Ski Mojo saved her from “a certain broken leg“.

She was on holiday in Zermatt, Switzerland when an out-of-control skier hit her side-on at high speed.

“I crouched and went into foetal position as he hit. I had no time for anything else! He hit my thigh and arms, but thanks to the Ski Mojo, my leg and wrist are very sore but otherwise okay.”

Skiing despite arthritis, replacement hips and cartilage issues

Annabel has hypermobile joints, arthritis, a couple of replacement hips and more recently a knee cartilage problem.

“Skiing has been my absolute passion for nearly 40 years. I’m not an expert despite all my visits to the mountains. But I am enthusiastic.”

Perhaps the most important figure was that 93% of you would have stopped skiing or would have skied less without the Ski Mojo.

9 out of 10 had less pain when skiing

It was also really pleasing to read that 92% of you found pain was reduced or completely eliminated thanks to the Ski Mojo.

99% believe the Ski Mojo allows you to ski more and 98% that the Ski Mojo protects the joints (especially the knees). Knowing that, perhaps it’s no surprise that 93% of you would recommend the Ski Mojo to others.

Your Ski Mojo: Over or under?

It was interesting to see that a small minority (16%) of you use the temporary clamp-on boot studs, on your own or rental boots.

In terms of the big debate as to whether you should wear your Ski Mojo under or over your ski pants, we learned that 4 in 5 users wear their Ski Mojo underneath their ski pants.

However, an increasing number (18%) mix it up by wearing their Ski Mojo on top. No doubt this is to do with the addition of our great new Camoflage and Leopard designs.
