These specific Ski Mojo suspenders prevent the harness from slipping down, especially when you don’t have your ski boots on. They are attached to the harness with two clips. These straps allow you to wear your Ski Mojo over or under your pants.

There are release buckles on either side for when you need to disconnect without taking everything off.

Other than the "fabric" straps, Neoprene and Velcro parts - the only part that is subject to failure through wear and tear resulting from normal use are the cables in the Ski-Mojos "hinges".

Very much like the tyres on a car, the cables are expected to last for a significant time. but they do wear out with use and need replacing can occasionally fail early if a piece of grit or debris gets in-between the strands. For most recreational users cable failure is very rare. For professional skiers using their Ski-Mojo every day of the season, the cables should last for two seasons, although for ski Professionals we would recommend having the cables replaced every season.

Changing the cables requires the hinge unit to be taken almost completely apart, so even though it can be done without the need for any specialist tools, for most it is not straight forward, which is why in most cases we will change the cables for you, as long as there is someone in the workshop here to do it.

Send your Ski-Mojo "hinges" in to us at Ski-Mojo Ltd, Faygate Cottage,Wimlands Lane, Horsham RH12 4SP and we will replace the cables for you:-
- If there is someone in the workshop (which is not always the case) the cables will be changed and your Ski-Mojo "hinges" shipped back to you the next working day.
- If there is not someone in the workshop (which is often the case during the ski season) the cables will be changed as soon as there is someone in the workshop to fit them (usual within one or two weeks). Your Ski-Mojo "hinges" will then be shipped back to you.

Alternatively, you can fit the cables yourself. These cables cost less at £12.

Other than the 'fabric' straps, Neoprene and Velcro parts - the only parts that normal wear and tear may mean replacement is required are the cables in the Ski-Mojo 'hinges'.

Changing the cables requires the hinge unit to be taken almost completely apart, so even though it can be done without the need for any specialist tools, for most it is not straight forward.

There is a video of how to change a cable here https://youtu.be/It-7zJT3UTk?feature=shared

The video is not quite correct - it is far easier if, once you've removed the switch and spring and before you remove the pivot pin you remove the sticker over the barrel-nut at the end of the cable and undo the barrel-nut. Then when re-assembling the last thing to do is put the cable end to the barrel nut and turn it until there is only a small amount of "free play" when the spring is engaged (then replace or renew the sticker). The barrel nut can sometimes be turned by hand, but you may need to use the Allen Key to turn it.

Alternatively, we can fit the cables for you in our workshop. Simply order our 'Workshop Fitted' version here.
