Ski Mojo features in ‘Walliser Bote’

We were excited to see this recent interview in the Swiss newspaper, Walliser Bote, with Gabriel Anthamatten.

Anthamatten is a former ski racer and now head the Saas Fee ski school. In the article he explains how he came across the Ski Mojo last winter and was excited about it straightaway.

“Right from the start, I was excited about it. The strain on the knees, the joints and the backdrop away significantly with the Ski Mojo.”

“The difference was huge”

He explains how the support from the Mojo comes from the spring-loaded recoil and initially tested the device with the springs engaged and then without. “The difference was huge,” he told the newspaper.

The ski school bought two Ski Mojos to offer to customers, across all performance levels. Anthamatten also believes that the Mojo can help skiers without any pre-existing injuries

“It’s designed so that you improve and finesse your skiing at any time. I expect the Mojo to become ever more normal over time.”

Gabriel Andermatten in Saas Fee: “The Ski Mojo is an amazing device”

Last month we gave Gabriel Andermatten, manager of the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School in Saas Fee, the opportunity to try the Ski Mojo for the first time.

“An incredible experience”

Despite being sceptical to start off with, by the end Gabriel had to admit that “it was an incredible experience.”

“At the start of my first turn, it felt a bit different, but it works so well. The pressure is so well distributed, it’s amazing.”

Andermatten tried out the Ski Mojo on a 7.6km run from the top of the resort back to the village in one go. That single run took eight and half minutes, with a vertical drop of 1700m.

He believes that the Ski Mojo is a great product for people suffering from knee and back pain:

“I have had back problems for a long time, but today I felt no pain at all. I can really say that it’s an amazing device.”

His advice: “Test it on the snow. I’m convinced you’ll love the Ski Mojo as well.”
