Chemmy was joined by expert fitter, Chris Smith from Dicks’ Board Store in Sheffield, who helped set up journalists so they could try the Ski Mojo on the indoor snow slope.

Journalists were impressed. In particular, Henry John from The Ski Club of Great Britain, felt the Ski Mojo was “a game changer!”

Chemmy at our stand at the 2018 London Ski Show

Although this is technically a ‘media only’ event, we have special dispensation from the organisers to invite members of the public to join us.

Chemmy will be available from 10.30am to 1.30pm. Chris Smith from Dick’s Board Store in Sheffield will also be available to help with fittings and answer questions.

The Ski Mojo stand will be just to the left of the stairs on the top floor, where the café and bar area is located.

That’s when ‘Daggers’ contacted us about the Ski Mojo:

A visit to Colin Martin

While Dagnall’s holiday to La Clusaz is currently on hold until the French travel ban ends, he started his Ski Mojo experience by visiting Colin Martin at Solutions4Feet in Bicester.

Colin is an experienced and approved Ski Mojo fitter – he even may be the best boot fitter in the UK. Daggers was impressed:

“Colin was really helpful. He is an expert. You could tell when you walked into the place that he knew what he was talking about.”

“He looked at my boots, drilled the holding screw onto the boot, then put the inner back in. If I was getting a new pair, I’d be going to him. That extra sense of expertise that you get from.”

“We went through how to use the Ski Mojo: standing; sitting; engaging; how to click into place. He did a complete demo a couple of times and then he showed me how to pack it up.”

Took up skiing about 3 years ago & LOVED it. I’m not very good but it’s a joy.

Time to ‘Test’ the Ski Mojo

The next step was testing the Ski Mojo on snow, which Charles did with a visit to The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead.

“Until you get it on, you’re not quite sure, but when it clicks in – you feel it straightaway. It’s like being lifted up. It was brilliant: the ease that assistance is gives you is amazing.”
