Is the Ski Mojo value for money? Of course it is! But don’t just take our word for it…
Ski Mojo owner Ann recently sent us her thoughts on why the Ski Mojo makes sense financially.
“I am just emailing to thank you for my amazing Ski Mojo, which has really given me back my mojo for skiing.”
How much does skiing cost?
Ann told us that her husband was initially sceptical about the value of buying a Ski Mojo (which retails for £594). So she decided to do “a quick calculation” to quantify the benefits of using the Mojo.
She started off by working out the full cost of their ski holiday:
Ski holiday package, half board inc flights – £1650
Airport parking – £65
Ski pass – £300
Ski hire – £100
Lunches etc – £120
Total per week – £2235
Total per day – £375
Skiing used to cost Ann £100 p/h…
Ann then looked at how many hours per day she spent on the mountain:
“My average day of skiing before the Ski Mojo used to be 9.30am-12.30am, followed by a long lunch, then an afternoon session from 2.30pm-3pm.
After all that, I’d return to the chalet completely exhausted.”
This adds up to just three and a half hours of skiing every day – which meant that Ann’s hourly cost of skiing was over £100 per hour.
…but now skiing only costs £50 p/h
The good news is that Ann’s ski holidays are now very different:
“Since I have had a Ski Mojo I generally ski from lift opening to lift closing with just an hour for lunch.
That means I’m skiing an average of seven hours a day – so it’s now only costing half as much at just over £50 for every hour of skiing.”
“Twice the skiing”
Ann couldn’t be happier with her new ski life:
“I am getting twice the skiing that I used to. That means that from one holiday alone, I have effectively earned back the cost of my Ski Mojo almost twice over.”
There there was another (temporary) bonus for Ann too:
“My husband can’t keep up with me anymore.
That’s not going to continue though: he’s just decided to order his own!”
