We were delighted to see Caroline Lytton’s recent post on social media, in which she described how the Ski Mojo has helped her back to skiing.
“I have a neurological disorder called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease which has left me with severely reduced leg strength and no voluntary motor control below my knees. Oh, and that checklist for whether someone has the potential to walk? I fail it.”
“Not just for people with dodgy knees”
For Caroline, the Ski Mojo has been a game-changer:
“It’s no exaggeration to say that I absolutely would not be able to ski without my Ski Mojo. They’re definitely not just for people with dodgy knees, they can help all sorts of conditions that could do with a leg boost!”
“Skiing is something I love”
Caroline says that her illness means that she doesn’t have much feel or control over her edges:
“I’m never going to be the smoothest skier (and don’t get me started on how you put on ski boots if you can’t move your toes!) but it’s something I absolutely love, and I’m willing to work at to keep going.”
“An ace bit of kit!”
Caroline has bought two Ski Mojos over the last ten years and is very happy to recommend them: “They are an ace bit of kit.”
Thanks Caroline and keep enjoying your skiing!
