Wayne Savill is 63 years old and describes himself as an intermediate level skier.
He had a full hip replacement at the end of July 2025, and thought his ski career might be over:
“I love my skiing and was concerned I would never be able to ski again”
“I can’t thank Ski Mojo enough!”
However, the Ski Mojo was recommended by a friend and Wayne hasn’t looked back since. Thanks to the Ski Mojo, he was skiing the slopes again by March 2026:
“The Ski Mojo has helped me ski better and longer and without fear. I skied in the Ski Amade region near Salzburg in Austria in third week of March this year. I can’t thank Ski Mojo enough.”
Wayne sent us this video, taken at Hochkönig the day after a significant snow fall which dumped some fresh powder:

Hi,
A similar query to that above. I just had my right knee replaced in January 2026 and am now pain-free and almost normally mobile. I appreciate that this needs medical advice, but have you had any feedback from other skiers with new kness, resuming the sport that we love? I have in mind to buy a Skimojo: my wife has had one for years and skis fine with it following severe cartilage damage, so I’m optimistic.
Hi Richard. Yes of course – this link will give you an insight into others who have had the same issue https://ski-mojo.co.uk/tag/knee-replacement/
